The Russells invited me out to their acreage to photograph their fun-loving family. Although I may be a little biased as I am almost as close to them as my own family, I love the images we captured from that day. Photographing families together outdoors in their own element is my favourite kind of session
Samantha’s After Session ~ Jasper National Park Leave a comment
My friend and fellow photographer was a wonderful model for me in one of my favourite Jasper locations. I had so much fun with this session and had a hard time narrowing down the photos to post as she looked fantastic in all of them! I love the freedom of an after session, you can go places you wouldn’t have time for on your wedding day, and without worrying about getting a little bit of dirt on your dress!
Lucas Turns Two ~ Hinton Child Photos 1 comment
My friend and fellow photographer let me tag along while she took her son’s photos for his second birthday. The previous afternoon I had been passing by this ridge and saw a perfect ray of sunshine shining down on a random roadside patch of grass. We took our chances and headed out to the location at the same time of day hoping to have the same lighting conditions and we were greatly rewarded. Lucas was an awesome little trooper and we found that the balloons and bubbles did a perfect job of keeping him happy while we took turns snapping photos.
Leroy & Angela Black Rock Mountain Wedding 6 comments
My very good friends Angie and Leroy had the most amazing mountaintop wedding. Leroy had proposed to Angie after making it up Black Rock Mountain, so they decided to get married in the same spot. My husband had the honour of officiating (luckily no one was available or willing to do the hike, so he got approved as a temporary marriage commissioner for the day), I had the pleasure of photographing while another friend recorded video, and friends and family joined to witness their marriage (after a 3+ hour hike.)
One of the bridesmaids and her husband carried up the pieces of a wedding arch that they had built and then put it together at the top. Everyone in the wedding party brought clothes to change into and the ladies found a depression behind a big rock for a changing room. From there, they walked down the hill to a rock and candle-lined aisle while music played.
It was such an intimate and beautiful wedding, I am so thankful to have been a part of it. I am also impressed with everyone that made the hike. Many people were from Saskatchewan and had never hiked up a mountain before!
Congratulations again to a wonderful couple. I wish you the best and thank you so much for allowing me to capture your day ![]()

Meet little Miss Madison at 10 days old! It was again a pleasure to photograph a beautiful little girl with the new parents. I quite enjoyed Cooper, the family pet, getting in on the photos as well
